In some areas the hail covered the ground white and briefly created locally hazardous driving conditions. Some of the larger hail stones were reported along Galvin Rd near Highway 370 and Harvel Street. The hail was accompanied by thunderstorm winds that were measured at 59 mph at Offutt and were estimated to have reached nearly 70 mph near Highway 370 and Galvin.
