A farm in Pedericktown (Oldman Township) saw its entire tomato, pepper, and string bean crop destroyed. Ninety percent of the crops on a 650 acre farm in Mannington Township was destroyed by hail. The largest reported hail was golf ball size in Media Borough. Quarter size hail was reported in Lansdowne Borough. In Clifton Heights Borough, penny size hail covered the ground. Dime to penny size hail were reported in both Boothwyn (Upper Chichester Township) and Concord Township. Dime size hail fell in Drexel Hill (Upper Darby Township) and Parkside Borough.
