National Weather Service description (English): Numerous reports were received from trained spotters, broadcast media, and social media of large hail falling over a 20-minute period across southeastern Palm Beach County. Most reports were at least quarter sized, with several reports of ping pong and golf ball sized hail. The largest hail was reported as slightly larger than golf balls along US 1 in Hypoluxo. Hail reports were received from Boynton Beach, Hypoluxo, and Ocean Ridge, and Delray Beach. One spotter near Boynton Beach also reported estimated wind gusts up to 50 mph, breaking large limbs off tree branches.
