National Weather Service description (English): Numerous reports of damaging hail were received from the Fern Creek area. One spotter reported 2 inch hail. Large hail damaged vehicles and the siding of several homes. A NWS employee observed many leaves stripped from trees and localized fog resulting from patches of hail left on the ground 2 hours after the storm passed.
