National Weather Service description (English): Hail damaged crops in the Frost area as reported by Faribault County Farm Service Agency Director Kevin Beckman. An estimated one thousand acres of soybean fields throughout the county were impacted by hail, according to Mr. Beckman. As reported by the Faribault County Register newspaper.

National Weather Service description (English): A swath of very large hail, up to baseball size, occurred from south of Huntley, southeast to south-southeast of Blue Earth. Crops were reported shredded in this area due to the extremely large hail and wind. The COOP observer in Blue Earth reported up to quarter size hail during this time period.
