National Weather Service description (English): A thunderstorm dropped 2.75 inch diameter hail at Belgrade 4ESE. Hail damage was particularly severe in Bozeman. Montana State University reported up to 1000 windows damaged on campus with a repair estimate in excess of $100,000. The city of Bozeman also reported cleaning up nearly 5 tons of debris consisting of tress and tree limbs.
