National Weather Service description (English): A supercell thunderstorm tracked across Sandusky County and produced a large swath of hail, ranging in size from quarters to baseballs (2.75 inch diameter). The destructive hail resulted in a significant amount of car insurance and home insurance claims. Dealerships around the area reported substantial vehicle damage. The damaging hail also caused a large amount of crop damage.
