The office first received a photo relayed via emergency management of golfball sized hail in Clarinda. It was also reported that the golfball sized hail lasted around 5 minutes resulting in damage to cars. The hailstorm continued to the north-northeast where there was another public report of golfball sized hail in Hepburn.
