Inkcazo yeNkonzo yeSimo seMozulu yeSizwe (isiNgesi): Significant hail storm occurred across a large portion of Ashley County as a large supercell thunderstorm tracked from just south of Crossett to just south of Hamburg and then to around Jerome. Golf ball sized hail was common and covered the ground all along the path. A few locations, mainly just south of Hamburg, the hail was as large as baseballs. This very large hail caused a great deal of damage to dozens of vehicle and roofs. The supercell continued to produce damaging hail as it moved past Jerome and across northern Chicot County.

Inkcazo yeNkonzo yeSimo seMozulu yeSizwe (isiNgesi): The large and intense supercell thunderstorm entered northern Morehouse Parish, from southwest Ashely County, and produced as swath of golf ball to baseball sized hail as it tracked southeast. The largest hail occurred around the Beekman Community and then as the storm was entering central West Carroll Parish. Around Beekman, tennis ball to baseball sized hail fell. Some vehicles were damaged as well as several roofs. As the storm exited eastern Morehouse Parish, the hail grew large again, possibly as large as baseballs, and caused damage in western West Carroll Parish.

Golf ball sized hail occurred around Crossett as this supercell storm, the one which produced the EF2 tornado in the southern portion of the county, tracked east.
