Video/photo evidence provided by residence along the survey route confirmed the varied sizes of hail, which covered the ground and piled up briefly on north sides of impacted homes. ||At least one SUV, and several windows, had hail imprints that ranged from 1 to 2.75 diameter. Note that damage value estimates from the wind-driven hail are provided in the thunderstorm wind event in this episode.

Ìṣàpèjúwe Iṣẹ́ Ojú-ọjọ́ Orílẹ̀-èdè (Gẹ̀ẹ́sì): Tennis ball sized hail was reported in the Los Villareales section of Rio Grande City, and Golfball sized hail at two nearby locations, by the public and local Sheriff's Office, between Midway Road and Hospital Drive, and along US 83 and FM 3167, all just a few miles east of Los Villareales in the west portion of Rio Grande City between 705 and 715 PM CDT.

Ìṣàpèjúwe Iṣẹ́ Ojú-ọjọ́ Orílẹ̀-èdè (Gẹ̀ẹ́sì): Facebook reports relayed to the NWS office in Brownsville reported two large hail reports east of Rio Grande City: Golfball sized hail 4.6 miles east, near La Puerta, and half-dollar sized hail (1.25) 4 miles east southeast of Rio Grande City near Los Velas road.
