National Weather Service description (English): The public reported quarter to golf ball-sized hail across central Forsyth county, particularly in the Cumming area. One report of 2.00 inch diameter hail was received from the public within the city of Cumming.

Golf ball-sized hail fell near Lawrenceville and in Snellville. Penny to nickel-sized hail was reported in Duluth and Grayson. Other reports of penny to quarter-sized hail were received from Duluth, to Grayson, to south of Snellville.

The public observed penny-sized hail near Crabapple. Most of the hail reports were penny to nickel-sized.

Several reports of penny to quarter-sized hail were also received from this same general area. WSR-88D radar data suggests that the largest hail likely fell near Norcross.
