National Weather Service description (English): The Fulton County Emergency Management Director reported that penny to golf ball-sized hail fell across far northern Fulton county around Alpharetta. The public observed penny-sized hail near Crabapple. Most of the hail reports were penny to nickel-sized.

Several reports of penny to quarter-sized hail were also received from this same general area. WSR-88D radar data suggests that the largest hail likely fell near Norcross.
