As the storm moved between the towns of Dalhart and Hartley (Hartley County), the County Emergency Manager reported baseball size hail (2.75 inches) on U.S. Highway 87 six miles north-northwest of Hartley. After producing this hail, the supercell continued to moved eastward across the county.
