National Weather Service description (English): Several reports were received of a swath of hail from approximately seven miles west of Littlefield into the town of Littlefield. The size of hail ranged from quarter size to as much as four inches in diameter. No damage was reported.

National Weather Service description (English): A public report was received of tennis ball size hail north of Littlefield near the intersection of Farm to Market Road 2197 and US Highway 385. No damage was reported.

National Weather Service description (English): A severe thunderstorm produced large hail that damaged property and cotton crops in the Anton vicinity during the afternoon hours of the 26th. Hail initially caused minor damage to crops northwest of Anton, but more intense damage south of the city was noted by farmers quoted in newspaper articles, where up to seventy-five percent of the crops were heavily damaged. In addition, hailstones up to the size of golf balls reportedly broke windows at a Hockley County maintenance barn just south of Anton. Measurements from the Texas Tech University West Texas Mesonet indicate that the hail also was periodically associated with severe wind gusts.

National Weather Service description (English): Multiple reports of large hail were received from the Amherst vicinity around 13:00 CST. Initial reports indicated that quarter size hail was falling in the city at 13:00 CST. Additional reports from the broadcast media suggested that hailstones increased to the size of golfballs by 13:03 CST. No damage was reported.
