National Weather Service description (English): A intensifying supercell thunderstorm tracked across southern Madison County and produced a swath of golf ball to baseball sized hail. The very large hail impacted areas across Ridgeland and the City of Madison. The supercell and severe hail continued across the Reservoir into Rankin County.

National Weather Service description (English): A merger of two storms resulted in a hail swath extending int Rankin County from Hinds County just north of Lakeland Drive to near the intersection of S471. Hail as large as baseballs (2.75 inches) was observed within this swath.

National Weather Service description (English): A large storm producing extremely large hail continued moving across the Jackson metro area and then across the rest of Rankin County. Hail up to 2.5 inches in diameter fell as this storm moved east causing substantial damage to vehicles and buildings. Baseball size hail fell at the MEMA State EOC causing extensive damage to state and personal vehicles. The Whitfield State Hospital had numerous windows blown out and extensive roof damage with glass ending up in patients' beds.

National Weather Service description (English): A swath of hail occurred across north central Rankin County. The largest hail that occurred was 2 inches in diameter off of Holly Bush Road. Half dollar sized hail occurred in the Crossgates neighborhood. Quarter sized hail occurred at the Jackson National Weather Service office, in the Hidden Hills and Barnett Bend neighborhoods. Nickel sized hail occurred at the Brandon EOC and at Fire Station 1.
